If you were to ask any of my friends about me, the first thing they would say is that I'm a "techy nerd." They're not wrong. Outside of my family, my focus and passion is around technology, whether it is at work or at home.
I am continuing to develop my technical skills and am working towards my VMware VCP-DVC certification. I also like photography, albiet it has been awhile since I've had time to devote to the hobby. My latest hobby is on homelabbing. I have created a blog in which I will be building content about my homelab and VCP preparation. You can find it here.

Support Architect • July 2015 - Present
As a Support Architect, I serve as a team leader for a support department consisting of over 40 employees. I am the virtualization and networking subject matter expert for the department.
My day-to-day responsibilities include handling emergent client escalations, assisting the frontline and analyst staff, as well as working on projects as assigned and developing and enhancing department workflows. In addition, I work very closely with our software development team in the tracking of client-reported software defects, which includes managing and prioritizing a backlog and working with product development teams to ensure the products are going in the correct direction for our clients.

In the Client Support Specialist role, I answered questions from our clients sent in by email or called in by phone. I would diagnose and triage issues and forward on to my tier-2 Application Analyst team for further review when appropriate.
